Dear Sir,
Letters to the Editor must be clearly written on one side of the paper. Where a nom-de-plume is used the name of the writer must be enclosed for reference Dear Sir,- I would Ike to draw your attention to the erratic selling of our calves which some few nonthinking individuals 'have let us in for. To-day we receive our cheques for last month's calves. I had sold Ave total amount 16s lOd average price 3s 4 2Jkl. We are supposed to get a final payment later on —perhaps like our supposed pig bonus. This is all eyewash. In no pool areas calves are selling to.day from 7s to 12s cash at the gate. Are we being had? It is about time farmers got together. I believe the committee also failed to advertise the contract for the marketing of the calves—this being so we maintain that we can demand from any individual of the commit, tee the shortage which each farmer can estimate at the end of the season.,
Yours etc., 501b BOBBY CALF
