LADIES' GOLF CLUB
A pleasant afternoon was spent on the Waimana links last Thursday when members of the Mokorua Ladies' Golf Club were present. The play was quite even as the match concluded all square. Mrs Kent on behalf of the visitors thanked Waimana for the pleasant afternoon spent by all. Mrs Miltchcll aptly replied calling for three cheers fo r the visitors. The following is the results of the play Waimana names being mentioned first: Mrs Wardlaw and Mrs n.uff lost to King and Mrs Mc'< Gougan; Mrs Ducker and Miss McConncll and Miss Rae and Miss Old all square; Mrs King and Mrs Sch_t weiters beat Miss, M. Rae and Mis Jarrett; Mrs Flint and Miss Doran and Mrs Wheeler and Mrs Stevenson all square; Miss Wool field and Miss Burnett beat Mrs T'imbs and Mrs Armstrong; Miss Cranswick and Mis Hodgson lost to Mrs Kent and Mrs Hansen.
