ANNUAL MEETING HELD Thr> an mud meeting of the League of Mothers was held in Ivnox Pres. bvterian Church on Tuesday last. Tiiere wa s a good attendance. .Mrs W. Sullivan was in the chair. Thr> election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: President: Mrs W. Sullivan; vice-presidents: Mesdames L. Buddie, W. E. Bridger and W. B. Gow: secretary: Mrs T. Hcwat, F. Parley and D. J. Bower. ing. After the business was conclude.' •i very interesting account of several discussions from the Mt Albert branch •vas read by Mrs CnuMock. Miss 'Uibi again charmed the audience with two .solos ''My Dear Soul" and "When the Almond Blossoms Ffll." \ one-act play "Between the Soup 'ml the Savoury" was then presented by Mrs Riddle as ''The Cook,'' Mrs S. Spence '"'Emily'' and Miss .leap, Sullivan as ''Ada .'' Til's was vely "vmly applauded by the audience, vternoon tea was provided by th<> "•"in-.Ktee.
