Presbyterian Concert continued

PUPPETS. Mr Barclay's puppets were one of the highlights of the evening. Particularly- good Avas the grisly skeleton which arose from its coffin and danced to the tune of the "Doll Dance," and the eastern puppet who demon, strated the Indian rope trick and showed that truth is stranger than fiction. "Cohen on the Telephone" convulsed the audience. The dexteritv with which Mr Barclay manipulated his mannikins was remarkable when the difficulties were taken, into account. Messrs Boswell, Paterson. Jones ana Yeoman harmonised ''Garry me Back to Old Virginny" to applause, and the concert came to an end with a part song and dance "Song of the Danube," which was one of the most popular items.
