I'm going to have the best of fun AVhen Halloween comes here! I've heard my sisters tellin' Of a lot o' 'things; that's queer Of all the things they're goin' to do With cabbages a nd things! Of playing tick-tack with a spool All twisted round with siring'. Kate has a -'yellow pumpkin, And Ruth and Lois, too: But I! they say, am too little. Tell you what I'll do— I'll just take all those cabbages, And spools and pumpkins Ho! An' me an' little sister Will have a "nagery show. An' when they come to find us, Guess they'll know then who's big! When they see cabbages an' pumpkins Dancin' a Halloween jig.
