Edgecumbe, in giving the Whakatane County Council permission to lead the Edgecumbe township drainage into one of his drains, thus solving a difficult problem, was mentioned at Tuesday's meeting of the Whakatane County Coune l. Crs C. T. Smith a nd L.W. Luxton reported that Mr RadclifTe's onlv condition was that any excess silting was to be cleared out by the council. The chairman, Cr W. A.
