EDGECUMBE BRANCH MEETS MRS HORWELL FAREWELLED The July meeting of the Edgecum. be Women's Institute was held on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs Le Lievre presided and there were thirty members present. It was decided to bring gifts to send to the lepers y at the next meeting. Mrs Withy, voluntary organiser for the Eastern Bny of Plenty Federation, spoke on the aims and ideals of Women's Institutes and explained the Endowment Fund. The speaker was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. Mrs C. Hallett then demonstrated the making of a bouquet. This was followed with keen interest by all
