VISIT TO OPOTIKI

TANEATUA AND WAIMANA Teams from Tancatua and Waimana Golf Clubs visited Opotiki dm*, ing the week-end and met Opotiki teams. A feature of the morning play was a hole in one on the 12th green by Mr H. H. Newell (Opotiki) the distance being 191 yards. A.t the conclusion of the games in the afternoon, Mr R. Hunt (Tanea« tua) on behalf of the visiting teams, thanked the Opotiki Club for *he very fine day's sport. Mr F. J. Short, president of the Opotiki Club replied on behalf of local players.
