THE TANEATUA CHURCH ANNUAL MEETING OF PARISHIONERS The annual meeting- of St Andrew's Presbyterian Church was held at Tancatua last Monday evening, the Rev. K. J. Watson, moderator occn. pying the chair. Good reports were read of the various organisations awl the treasurer's report showed a credit balance. The work of Mr and Mrs Stewart during the past year came in for the warmest commendation. Following the business of the meeting supper was served by the ladies in the school room. During the course of this enjoyable interlude, a presentation was made to Mrs Gooch the treasurer on behalf of the congregation, and to Mrs Yeoman who has officiated at the organ Tor a considerable number of years. The Rev.. A. D. Horwcll who has been moderator for a few years of the Taneajtua charge and is leaving for the South Island was presented with a cheque from the congregation hj r Mr Mead (Session Clerk) who on behalf qf his district friends wished him success in his future work.
