SCOUT CAMP

APPLICATIONS CLOSE TO-DAY All Scouts intending to attend th? Jamboree at Wellington from Decern, ber 27th till January 11th are ieminded that to_day is the last devy when application forms and deposit of £1 can be handed in. The Distiict Commissioner, F. N. Christian, who has just returned from a conference in Wellington, communicated lo the District Scoutmaster, Stan the fact that as the applications total in the vicinity of GOOD and anticipated number at the camp v. ill be 5000. No late applications c:m b'= considered. It is hoped that every eligible Boy Scout in the Bay of Plenty district will make it his duty to attend and they must get their forms in quickly so as not to miss this wonderful camp with all its experiences—the biggest camp ever held in New Zeaalnd.
