FIRE IN BOILER ROOM When the firemen on duty in the -■Grand Theatre on Monday evening ■■smelt smoke late in the programme 7he investigated and discovered an outbreak of fire in the nearby boiler 'house where firewood, stoied some distance from the furnace, had ignit--«d. The blaze was promptly extinguished with the assistance of the .operator, Mr W. Stewart, and it is probable that not many people r.n"ticed anything amiss. It was onlj a minor affair, the fire was caught zin time.
