GAME WITH "BAA-BAAS"

o MATCH AGAINST THE BAY AUCKLAND SUGGESTS DATE A tentative date of August 19 has been fixed by the Barbarians Club for its match against the Bay of Plenty, according to a letter received by Mr W. S. Henderson, secretary of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union, from the secretary of the club, who states that as Auckland has a full season, of representative matches, and as a. number of the Barbai'ians are likely to be engaged in many of the fixtures it is difficult to find a suitable date for the match against the Bay. The Barbarians, however, think that it may be possible to play on August 19 and ask whether this dale is clear. This is only a tentative arrangement, but the Barbarians say they will be able to fix a definite date before July 8. * Mr Henderson told the BEACON that it should be possible to coma to some arrangement along these lines.
