Chief Synions led the clansmen. The dances Avere interspersed Avith excellent items. Beside Miss Martin, whose dancing Avas loudly applauded, Miss Dawn Bathe and Miss Shirley B?ithe tapped Avith precision and grace and Miss Howat, Miss Molly Armour and Miss Martin joined in a Highland fling that stirred even a synthetic Scotsmen like the BEACON representative. Miss Howat also tap danced and shoAved she could handle the Sassenach rhythm as Avell as the Scots. A popular item AA'as Nurse Craig s singing of ''Laird O' Cockpcn,'' Scots motion song, and encores Avere called for Avhen Mrs Berry and Piper Patterson and Nurse Craig sang together. Mrs Foavlls played the extras. Altogether it Avas a nicht o' n.ichts and the next evening after the Winter Show will be eagerly aAvaited.
