SOCIAL ATFERNOON

Many fricivls of Mr and Mrs T. W. James gathered at the St.. Andrew's Hall last Saturday afternoon to do honour to Miss Lottie James on the eve of her auuroaching marriage. Mrs "Sullivan welcomed the guests of honour, to whom bouquets were presented. Mrs .lames thanked the audience for t-ieir expressions of goodwill. Mrs Caraway then asked Miss James to accept the gifts with best wishes of all present for her future happiness. Mrs Snelling mother of the bridegroom, also thanked the audience on behalf of her son. A dainty afternoon tea and the singing of "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow" 1 brought the afternoon to a close.
