TRANSFERRING PLAYERS
MUST BE FINANCIAL The fact that it was an offence, which might cost a club a game—*«o play men who had transferred without being financial with their former club, was mentioned when the Wha. katane Club notified the Whakatane Sub-Union at its meeting at Ruatoki on Monday night., that J- an d M. Merito were still unfinancial wit is Whakatane. Later in the evening the Taneatiiii delegate, Mr Gee, adjusted the mavter. Mr W. S. Henderson said the trans fcrs were granted subject to men being financial. If the rule was applied .strictly no doubt a club play-* ing unfinancial members would suffer the penalty. However they would not want to enforce the rule in these cases.
