o GIRLS OF TANEATUA GIVE MISS MEAD A PARTY A very pleasant evening in the Tanoatua Hall on Thursday night was given by the girls of Taneatua to Miss G. Mead on her approaching marrioge. The evening was spent in dancing and games, music being supplied by Miss N. Goddard and Miss E. Merrie. Tap dancing items were* given by Miss K. Walton, and Miss X. Merrie also by a small person and Don Bell of Waimana. After the dainty supper Mr Cliff Buttler, on behalf of Miss Mead, thanked all present for the lovely presents which had been given to her. Mr R. McGougan very capably acted as M.C. Miss .Mead wore a pink evening gown with a black coatec.
