——o TO SPEAK IN WHAKATAXE A distinguished soldier will addrcs a meeting on defence matters in Whakatane on Friday. He is MajorGeneral Sir Andrew Russell a man who has seen much service and his views should prove very interesting. It is hoped that there will be a good muster to hear Sir Andrew and ladies are especially invited. The place of the meeting will be advertised in our next issue.
