BAY PRESBYTERY
o MEETING AT WHAKATANE MINISTER ACCEPTS CAEL A call to the Rev J. C. McCaw, of Te Puke, was received by the 3ay of Plenty Presbytery a t its meeting in Whakatane last week from Si. David's Church, Upper Hutt. ihe call was sustained and tentative at.. rangements were made for the induction on May 10. Mr McCaw wJI be leaving Te Puke during the first, week in May. The Very Rev T. H. Ilosevcare. of Tauranga, has been appointed interim moderator. Mr J. Stewart, of Taneatua will take Mr McCaw's place as Presbytery Clerk. It was reported that the Easter Bible Camp at Ohope had been at. tended by over 100 members, including two from Te Puke. The camp was in charge of Mr and Mrs D. N. McDiarmid. Arrangements were made for the visit of Sister Elizabeth Allan, youth organiser for the. Presbyterian Church, to the Bay of Plenty at the end of June.. Sister Allan will spend about three months in the district.
