TO THE CHURCH MEMBERS OF THE PARISH OF TAURANGA.

TO THE BDITOB,

Sib, — Permit me through the columns of the Bat of Piehty Timeb to inform the Te Papa and Greerton members of the parish, that matters of importance connected with this parish, and my own status in particular, have compelled me to attend this session of the Synod at Napier. Taking into con. sideration the shortness of notice received, and deliberating as to whether T could go or not, I have used all available means to secure the services of a clergyman, but failed. I hope that the churchwardens will be sue* ceßsful in securing the services of the Rev Mr Mulgan. Therefore I trust that any in< convenience my parishioners may be put to by my temporary absenco they will kindly excuse. — I am, Ac, Cir abms Jouvan, A.8., T.C.D.
