Tatjpo, Tuesday afternoon. A foui-horse coach, driven by the proprietor, Mr Menzies, left for Tauranga this morning.

A meeting of delegates of Friendly Societies of Wellington interviewed a number of Mem> bars of the House of Representatives re the Friendly Societies Bill. The delegates undern took to prepare questions to be sent by the Government to the various branch Societies throughout the colony in order to ascertain their exact views of the new bill.
The delegates of the Wellington Friendly Booieties will meet to> night and decide as to what questions and suggestions regarding the new Friendly Societies Bill Bhall be submitted to Government. Having decided upon these matters they will be telegraphed free to all Friendly Sooieties, and the replies will also be franked. The results will be then submitted to Government.
This evening Mr Bolleston will ask the Government when they intend to bring down tables and rates in connection with the now Eriendlj Societies Bill.
