[PEB PBESS AGENCy.] Napier, Friday evening. A prisoner named Symonds, undergoing a ten year's sentence, escaped this morning- from the hard labour gang employed at Battery Point quarrying stone for harbour works. He has not yet been recaptured. The police are after him.
