By John Williamson, Esquire, Superia toiident of the Province of Aucklandthe Board of Education, under “ The Education Act, 1872,” and “ The Education Act, 1572, Amendment Act, 1874,” has fixed a HOUSEHOLD IiATE of TWENTY SHILLINGS, and a RATE of TEN SHILLINGS 1 for every MALE PERSON of TWENTY-ONE | YEARS and UPWARDS residing within the Province of Auckland who shall not be liable to pay the said Household Rate, as the Rates to be levied for the year 1874, I do hereby appoint i ROBERT BAILLIE LUSK, Esquire, as the person to wuom such Rates shall be paid ; and I do hereby farther fix MONDAY, the Fourteenth Day of September, 1874, to be the day, and. the Provincial Treasury, at Auckland, to bo the place, on and at which such Rates shall bo payable.
