THE LATE BANQUET.
to Tins Ei>rxoß. Sib, —Allow me to say that I am an old resident in Tauranga who speaks openly of sumo of the people and the ridiculous airs of some of tho females. I hope that no one thinks it was 1 who sent those remarks to the Star about Captain Eraser’s dinner j as whatever I do, I do it openly. The artful, low cunning, lying, undermining individuals I abominably detest ; and there are soma people hero, of both sexes, who do the meanest actions, and then, when they are taken up, they will make no defence, but affect to treat their superiors (both morally and intellectually) with contempt, and walk by a man on the road like a hog in the sulks. Another tiling I remark in those people, they have a very thick skin, in fact, the hide of a rhinoceros ; and after being called the Saxon word of four letters, and still disguising name (I moan the writer about Captain Fraser’s dinner), is a proof of it.I am, Ac., MaBCXTS PATERSON WISIiSTt.
