The Governor may at any time by indorsement on the grant, or on a subsequent instrument or disposition, or by separate deed, release any such right, and discharge the land comprised therein from the said liability. Nothing herein contained shall authorise the taking of any lands which shall be occupied by any building, or by gardens, orchards, plantations, or ornamental grounds.
