The wet weather experienced during the past few weeks has interfered greatly with the play-off in the competitions for the Milton Club's prizes. iSow that the weather has apparently become more seasonable it behoves players to get their matches finished immediately. The extended period tor playing off second jound in the president's handicap and championship closes on evening, 10th iust. It is anticipated that annual holiduy fixtures will take place, viz., the visit of the Caledonians to Milton on Boxing Day, and visit by the local club to JSorth East Valley on Thursday, January 2.
