HOMING PIGEONS
FOR CANADIAN AIR FORCE
From a West Coast Canadian port (unnamed) comes news that flocks of fast-flying homing pigeons are in training there for important roles they soon may play with the Royal Canadian Air Force in the war. From a loft on the air station, amid an atmosphere of roaring aeroplane engines and bustling crewmen, the birds are being taught to carry messages from planes considered to be out of touch witjv their bases.
