SENT TO ELLIS ISLAND
GRIPSHOLM PASSENGERS
Rec. 11.30 a.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 27. The Daily News says that the Federal Bureau of Investigation sent 150 passengers from the diplomatic ship Gripsholm to Ellis Island for investigation. These include 20 socalled Pacifists who, it is alleged, during the passage unsuccessfully tried to arrange meetings protesting against the war.
