GIFTS BY WILL

In three estates for which probate was granted this week, provision has been made for legacies to church and other public bodies. Payment of the sums o'f £300 to the Auckland branch of the Plunket Society, £200 to the Institute for the Blind, £100 each to Sister Esther and the City Mission. £300 to St. Andrew's Anglican Church, and £200 to the central fund of the Church of England, totalling £1200. are provided for under the will of the late Miss Ellen Faton. who died on June 28, leaving an estate valued at £9000.

The Rev. H. H. Bedford, who died on July 17, left £100 to the central fund of the diocese of Auckland. Provision is made under the will of the late Mr. John Thomas Gill, who died on June 13, for £50 , to be paid out of an estate of £23,000 for the management and upkeep of All Saints' Church, Howick.
