OBITUARY
MRS. ELIZABETH SPRY The death has occurred of Mrs. Elizabeth Spry, aged 92, of Kingsland. Born in Paisley, Scotland, Mrs. Spry was brought up at Cape Town in the home of Captain Sampson the port health officer, as her mother had died when she was eight years Old. When she was 23 years old, Mrs. Spry came to New Zealand in the Atrato, the first steamer to travel from England to New Zealand. She was married in New Zealand and there were eight children.
