INSTITUTE CONFERENCE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The annual conference of the Railway Officers' Institute concluded yesterday when officers were elected as follows: President, Mr. M. J. Forde, Wellington; North Island vice-president, Mr. J. W. Shepherd Auckland; South Island vice-presi-dent, Mr. J. S. Roscoe, Christchurchgeneral treasurer, Mr. G. R. Wilson, Wellington; executive committee (all being members of the Wellington branch), Messrs. A. F. Gilmore T; D. Lewis, J. S. Lynch, C. D.' Abrahall (traffic branch), Mr. A. J Martin (locomotive running branch) Mr. T. D. Trewern (locomotive technical branch), Mr. P. B. McLeary (maintenance branch), Mr. W S Renai (stores branch); auditors* Messrs. J. H. Wilsdh and G m' Howattson. Mr. M. J. Forde was reappointed editor of the Advocate the official organ of the institute
