COURT CASE SETTLED

The case in which Mrs. Avis Edwards, of Henderson (Mr. Holmden), claimed a refund of £205 and £300 damages against the International Harvester Company of New Zealand, Ltd. (Messrs. Finlay and Goodall), heard before Mr. Justice Callan and a jury yesterday, was concluded to the afternoon, when a settlement was arrived at between the parties, In announcing the settlement, Mr. Finlay said that the plaintiff, whosa claim was based on the seizure under hire purchase agreement of a tractor which she alleged was unsatisfactory, unreservedly withdrew all allegations of misrepresentation.
