LETHARGIC MARKET There was a lifeless tone on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day. and turnover dwindled to small proportions. Support for Australian issues was weaker, but demand throughout, all sections was more •nibdued. Sellers, however, were firm. The onlv bright feature was an advance in Bank' of New Zealands to £1 19/. the t>est price for three months, more being sought at that figure. Gilt-edged securities remained in steady demand.
