MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS
The Minister of Health, Mr. Nordmeyer, arrived from Wellington yesterday. He inspected the Auckland Hospital before conferring with the executive of the Auckland division of the B.M.A. This morning he visited the works of the Reid New Zealand Rubber Mills, Limited, at Penrose, making a tour of the plant with the manager. The Minister expressed himself as well pleased with what he had seen. The company is doing much essential war work, especially in connection with supplies for the dairy industry. Mr. Nordmeyer leaves for Wellington this evening.
The Minister of Transport, Mr. Semple, was engaged on Departmental work in Auckland to-day. He |?. r Wellington to-morrow. The Minister of Mines, Mr. Webb, who has been conferring with coal interests in Auckland, leaves for -Huntly to-morrow ; to hold a conference there in connection with housing and other matters connected with the production, of coaL
