Mr. George Holmes is crop utilisation officer of ww D .partment of Agriculture, whose field experience in Otago and southland approximates to English mixed arable farming conditions. He was chairman of the Lime Utilisation Committee, and it is understood that tnis question is becoming increasingly important in England. Mr. G. c j! n ?°. n was instructor in the fields division in Levin, and Messrs. A. Longwill, Auckland, and A. John®°n>Manawatu, were concerned in the Pig Production Council organisa+v,onT-> - v. Green came from the Dairy Research Institute, Massey College, and Mr. A. Copland has specialised in grassland management to which greater attention is being paid in England. Mr. Copland also has experience in irrigation and land drainage.
