COLOSSAL PRODUCTION
AMERICAN IMPRESSIONS
The physical possibility of establishing th» nave of his church on the wing of one of America's latest Flying Fortresses was emphasised at an Auckland Rotary Club luncheon to-day by the Anglican City Missioner, Rev. Jasper Calder. He used the illustration to convey some adequate idea of the size of these gigantic machines which to-day are reported to be coming off the production lines at the rate of more than 20 each .day. The speaker spoke with enthusiasm of the manner in which American people, after the Pearl Harbour incident, took up the business of preparing to win the war.
