COMBATING 'FLU
I view with grave concern the seeming lack of public instruction and assistance given out bv the Health Department to combat the definite epidemic of influenza "which is now prevalent. As a convalescent, I can say that this is a serious type of flu, and the apparent worst feature is the spreading of the trouble by those who have had the complaint, it seems that what should be provided in the city is some preventive treatment, such as nose and throat spraying or any alternative which will fortify the people against contracting this very distressing time losing, and, I think, preventable disease.
