CONSCRIPTION BILL
CANADA COMMONS VOTE Rec. 11.30 a.m. OTAWA, July 24. The House of Commons, voting by 141 to 45 on the third reading, passed and sent to the Senate the bill permitting the Government to introduce conscription for overseas service by Order-in-Council.
