MANY APPLICATIONS TRAVELERS (»V'KR|tOO MILES Up to last evening about 300 people had been granted permits exempting them from the ban on railway travel of more than 100 miles. This ban comas into force on Monday. The issue of\ permits began on Tuesday, and so far about 100 applicants have had their applications refused.
