PLANS FOR ENTERTAINMENT

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Regulations were issued to-dav authorising the holdng of Sunday entertainments for members of the armed forces and their friends. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. iai ry, said Sunday entertainment and functions at which charges could be made might be held only with the written consent of the Mayor or chairman of the local authority of the district in which the function or entertainment was held. The local patriotic organisation must also be consulted and the Mayor or chairman required to take into consideration any representations made by the organisation. y
