PRISONERS SENTENCED
Found guilty by a jury last week of common assault on a young worn a n he was escorting home. Albert Henry George Perry aged 21, a soldier, who had been in the navy previously, and for whom Mr. Aekins made a plea for leniency, was sentenced by Mr. Justice Fair'to-day to three months' imprisonment. Horace Raymond Edlin, a man of middle age, who had admitted thefts committed while he was employed in a Territorial camp, was stated bv his Honor to have a bad previous record. He was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment. A young man of 18 years, who had admitted an indecent assault, was admitted to probation fo* three years, and an order was made that publication of his name be suppressed. i
