FAMILIES AND VOTES
Mother of Two" remarks that politicians would tumble over one another if children had votes. 1 quite agree with her. Children are the great asset of the nation, yet while people are arguing over the extension of the life of Parliament men under 21 years have gone oversea* to nght for a country that thev have nacl no share in governing. Also thev ,VS been taxed in the matter <>f clothes and other necessities in the persons of their parents. Is this iust? No. decidedly not! If people brine children into the world, and no country can live without children, then parents ought to have more influence in the government of the country. M. WALTON SMITH.
