An application to have a case stated for the Court of Appeal was made by Mr. Sullivan for Bartual Martinovlch, boarding house keeper, aged 59 years, when the latter came before Mr. Justice Fair for sentence on a charge of selling liquor without a license, on which a jury had found him guilty.
