(0.C.) MATAMATA, this day. Reporting on the conference between representatives of the Matamata and Piako County Councils with reference to the transfer of a portion of the Peria riding to the Piako County, the chairman of the Matamata County Council, Mr. E. D. White, said that no agreement was reached. Neither side would accept the proposals of the other.
