BOMBER AN HOUR

Rec. 9.30 a.m. LONDON, July 19. By the end of July the Ford aircraft factory at Detroit will be producing a heavy four-engined bomber every two hours, Viscount Halifax stated in a speech at Birmingham. When the factory reached full production it would turn out one every hour. Viscount Halifax said he had seen ships launched in America 50 days after the keel was laid and last month 57 ships were built.
