EVELYN FIRTH HOME
Attention has been drawn to the temporary lack of patients in the Evelyn Firth Home, which was handed over to the National Patriotic Fund Board at the end of la<=t year for the use of soldiers from the present war and was reopened for this purpose about a month ago. At the moment the purposes of the institution are being served by the State convalescent hospital at Rotorua. While it is obvious that there will be every need for the home later, the suggestion has been made that till such time arrives the home might be used as a convalescent home for invalid home service men thus relieving other institutions.
