The amputation of two fingers of the right hand was necessitated by injuries received by Mr. John William Cairn, aged 35, married, a carpenter, of 32, Canal Road, Avondale when his hand was caught in a saw at work yesterday. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. His condition to-day was fair.
