NEW AWARD MADE
Coming into force on Wednesday next for the period of one vear a new award has been made "by the Arbitration Court for grocers' assistants and drivers in the Auckland district. The wages range from 20/ a week for under-16 juniors, to £5 5/ a fully-qualified seniors, ana J. 5 15/ for branch managers. The annual holiday for shop managers is fixed at two weeks and for other permanent workers one week on full pay.
