CONGRESS LEADERS TO MEET Rec. 9.30 WASHINGTON, July 16. President Roosevelt has indicated informally to legislative leaders that Congress will be asked to forgo the recess for the immediate consideration of drastic anti-inflation legislation, including iron-bound control of wages and salaries. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Sam Rayburn, and the leader of the House, Mr. John W. McCormack, conferred briefly after the Presidential wishes were made known.
