TAXI LICENSE CASES
-Two decisions of the Auckland Metropolitan Licensing Authority have been reversed by the Transport Appeal Authority, Sir Francis £ razer.
In connection with a continuous taxicab license granted to a returned soldier, Mr. G. A. Belcher, last the appeal authority stated that the Auckland authority had apparently been under the impression that it was bound to rehabilitate a returned soldier by him back his job." The evidence did not indicate that an additional license was required. The appeal was accordinglv allowed and the licensing authority's decision reversed. uy s
