Offers for leading Australian securities were shaded on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day following news that legislation is being prepared in the Commonwealth in connection with the 4 per cent profits limitation. Otherwise the market was steady, with banks slightly firmer. Banks of New South Wales and E. S. and A's were sought at higher figures. Bruce Woollen ordinaries were 9d higher at £1 4/.
